Follow-up text examples

Short texts should still use the conversation.

These fictional examples illustrate one useful next question at a time. They are not customer transcripts, automatic sequences, lending advice or proof of a conversion result.

A new inquiry with a stated goal

Use the answer that is already available. A short reply that ignores the history can feel just as robotic as a long script. If the goal is unclear, a brief question can help; if it is known, ask only what changes the next step.

Known contextThe fictional borrower already said they are planning a purchase.

AvoidAre you buying or refinancing?

Possible replyWhen are you hoping to take the next step with your home search?

A timeline changed after an earlier conversation

Preserve the updated timeline and adjust the permitted follow-up plan. Do not manufacture urgency or treat an uncertain plan as a confirmed appointment. A specific future date should come from the borrower or a verified setting, not from a generic countdown.

Known contextThe borrower previously expected to start looking in the fall.

Possible replyIs the fall still your plan, or has the timing changed?

Changed answerWe are probably waiting until next year.

An older inquiry returns

Do not assume old financial details still apply. Prior history is context, not a current application. Reactivation also requires an appropriate permitted scope; having a stored phone number is not blanket authorization to contact someone indefinitely.

BorrowerI am interested again, but my situation is different.

Possible replyWhat would you like your loan officer to focus on now?

Next stepPreserve the current stated goal and coordinate the officer’s conversation when requested.

A request for a consultation

An agreeable response or sent booking link is not a completed booking. Do not invent availability, rates or officer commitments to make the script feel smoother. Specific lending questions should go to the appropriate officer with the relevant context.

BorrowerCan I speak with my officer tomorrow?

Possible replyI can help coordinate that. What would you like to cover on the call?

VerificationUse the correct booking instructions and confirm the actual recorded time and timezone.

A stop request is not a sales objection

If the person asks to stop, follow the applicable contact controls. Do not append another qualification question, reinterpret the request as hesitation or schedule a later sales check-in. Test that boundary alongside ordinary conversational examples.

LoanWick uses available Bonzo history and officer instructions for eligible replies. Treat these scripts as review material: adapt them to truthful context, test with fictional details and confirm the actual workspace behavior before real contact.

Questions before you choose

Follow-up text examples: common questions.

Can I copy these mortgage follow-up texts into a campaign?
They are fictional conversation examples, not a universal campaign sequence. Review actual context, permission, assignment and next-step instructions before using any wording.
What makes an AI text feel more conversational?
Ordinary language, one useful question, accurate history and a clear next step. Shortness alone does not make an incorrect or repetitive reply useful.
Should an AI follow-up include a current mortgage rate?
Only use information verified through the appropriate officer workflow. These examples do not supply quotes, savings or approval promises.
How should I test a new follow-up script?
Use fictional new, returning, changed-plan, booking and stop-request cases. Inspect both the text and the intended action before activating real outreach.

Test the conversation before you activate outreach.
