Reads the history first
Before writing, LoanWick refreshes the lead’s available Bonzo text history, including messages sent outside LoanWick, plus CRM notes, pipeline stage and the assigned officer’s settings.
Quick answer: LoanWick is an AI texting assistant that works inside your existing Bonzo account, and this connection is live today. When a lead replies, it reads the Bonzo history and your instructions, answers with a useful next question and helps book a call. It stops on opt-outs and steps back when you text.
Bonzo is good at sending the first text and the next campaign step. The hard part is the reply. A borrower writes back while you are with a client, and someone has to answer with something useful. LoanWick is an AI texting assistant that works inside your existing Bonzo account. It answers that reply, follows up when a lead goes quiet, and helps book a call with you.
LoanWick is an independent product that connects to your Bonzo account. It is not made, sponsored or endorsed by Bonzo.
Bonzo campaigns can send texts, emails, voicemails and videos on a schedule, and a campaign can stop when the prospect replies. Stopping is the right behavior. But once the campaign stops, the conversation waits for a person. If you are in a closing, on another call or asleep, the lead who just raised a hand waits too.
That gap is the speed-to-lead problem. A borrower who asks a question is most engaged right then. A reply hours later often reaches someone who has already talked to another lender or lost interest. LoanWick is built for that moment: the next text after the lead writes back, not just the first one.
Before writing, LoanWick refreshes the lead’s available Bonzo text history, including messages sent outside LoanWick, plus CRM notes, pipeline stage and the assigned officer’s settings.
Inbound replies come first. LoanWick drafts an answer from that context and your instructions, and sends it through Bonzo only if every check passes.
In the stages you enable, it can reopen conversations that went quiet, after checking holds, opt-outs and sending limits.
When a lead is ready, it offers times from your configured availability and shares your booking link. Outside calendar busy times are not synced.
Appointment details can be added to Bonzo as an internal note, with the stage move you choose. Sends, skips and failures are logged in LoanWick.
When you text the lead yourself, LoanWick stops overlapping automation. A reply delay gives you the first chance to answer.
| Check | What LoanWick does | What you still own |
|---|---|---|
| Opt-outs | STOP, unsubscribe and remove-me replies end future assistant texts and cancel scheduled follow-up | Having consent to text each lead in the first place |
| Texting hours | Sends only inside the lead’s local window you set, within the federal 8 AM–9 PM limit and supported state rules | Choosing a window that fits your compliance program |
| Sending limits | Applies LoanWick’s sending limits and holds so quiet leads are not flooded | Choosing which leads and stages are eligible |
| Stage permission | Follows each stage’s mode: Proactive (follow up), Reactive (reply only), Pipeline-only (never text) or excluded | Reviewing every stage before activation |
| Human activity | Holds back when an officer recently texted the lead | Pausing the assistant when you take over |
These controls support your TCPA and state compliance program. They are not legal advice or a guarantee, and you remain responsible for your configuration.
ContextA refinance lead got a Bonzo campaign text last week. Notes say they want a lower payment. The campaign stopped when they replied.
BorrowerSorry, been slammed. Is it still worth looking at?
AssistantNo problem. It depends on your current loan, and your loan officer can walk you through it. Would a quick call Thursday afternoon or Friday morning work?
Illustrative, fictional conversation. Not a customer transcript, a promised model response or lending advice.
Texting is the core product. AI calling is built and rolling out seat by seat after voice setup and consent confirmation; it is not live for every workspace. Plans are monthly by tier and lead volume, include every loan officer, and do not charge per seat. Your Bonzo subscription is separate.
An administrator adds the company’s Bonzo connection. LoanWick validates it and loads your pipelines and stages.
Each officer connects their Bonzo seat and adds their name, NMLS, booking link and reply head-start window.
Decide where the assistant may follow up, where it may only reply, and where it must not text.
Name the assistant, pick a tone profile, add standing instructions, and set availability and days off.
Run simulated conversations in the private demo. No real SMS is sent.
Live outreach stays off until activation is approved. Start small, read the conversations, then expand.
